Zombee [Zombie - Bee] Free Crochet Pattern

This is my first free crochet pattern that I have shared. It hasn't been tested by anyone other than me, so it should be made by an experienced crocheter. That said, I think I have written it clearly. Just about every stitch is single crochet. I do like to begin with the magic ring technique most of the time. I also use a continuous round system so a stitch marker will help you keep track of your round and stitch. It's not listed in the pattern but I often subtract or add a stitch when switching colors to line up my rounds. It's just a personal preference for looks.

Enjoy making and be sure and tag me on social media with your finished creation. I would love to see your version!

Now that the pupils are attached to the eye whites, attach the eyes to the head. Affix between rounds

14-21 of head and 3-4 stitches apart and begin to stitch in place. Stuff each eye ball a little bit to give

it a 3D look. Put one eye pupil looking Northeast and the other looking Southwest - almost cross eyed.

Use black yarn to add details to the face. Some black lines under the eyes, uneven eyebrows, and

a crooked zig zag mouth.

See photo A for detail.

Fasten off and leave a long tail thread to weave

back through the wing and pull out on the pointy

between rounds 33-35 - the bottom of the upper

black section of the body. Wings will be two

stitches apart. See photo C for detail.

Lastly, add makeup for details. I used some pink, purple, charcoal, and gold eyeshadow for effect.

A few spots on the eye whites, wings, and some color on the body and legs to give it that

roughed up effect like this Zombee is having a bad day.
